Some recognitions are about a moment. This one is about a lifetime of work.

We are proud to share that our CEO Arturo Sneider and President Leandro Tyberg have been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2026 LA500, recognizing the 500 most influential business leaders in Los Angeles.

For Arturo, this marks his third consecutive year on the list. For Leandro, his first.

This recognition reflects more than individual achievement, it reflects three decades of intentional work in markets others overlooked, communities others underinvested in, and projects others said couldn’t be done. Together, they have built a company rooted in the belief that every community deserves quality development, and that belief shows up in every project we take on.

We are proud to be led by two people who have always known what they are building toward. Congratulations, Arturo and Leandro.

From the Basement of the Great Stone Mother: How 45 Bicycles Found New Life in Boyle Heights

mayo 1, 2026
Screenshot 2026 05 01 at 2.07.08 PM

This Earth Day, something quietly extraordinary happened on the grounds of the shuttered old LA County General Hospital, the building our community knows as the Great Stone Mother. Nearly 280 bicycles had been stored in the hospital's basement for nearly two decades.

They belonged to patients, many of them unhoused, who arrived at the hospital on a bike and, for whatever reason, left without one. Each bike had a small sticker with a name, a date of birth, and a date of admission. No record of what came after.

When our Centennial project team began the first phase of transforming the 42-acre Eastside campus into housing and community space, Project Director Giovanna Araujo stumbled upon them while scoping the basement for geotechnical testing.

“I just happened to go to that corner of the basement and open that door and see all the bikes,” Araujo said. “It came to me immediately. We must absolutely salvage these bikes. They need to be back in the world.”

What followed was a months-long effort rooted in the same values that guide our work at Centennial: circularity, community, and care. Centennial Partners connected with Olin Reyes, owner of Esquina Bicycle Shop in Boyle Heights, who brought volunteers, tools, and heart to the project. Working nights in the dimly lit basement after closing his shop, Reyes triaged the bikes, setting aside the hopeless cases, salvaging parts from the unsaveable, and restoring what could be restored. In December, 42 refurbished bikes were given away as Christmas gifts. In April, 45 more were ready.

On Earth Day, April 22, residents from Boyle Heights and surrounding neighborhoods lined up in front of the hospital’s grand Art Deco entrance to choose a bike, free of charge. People for Mobility Justice volunteers were on hand with helmets, lights, and safety guidance. One 10-year-old girl named Vivian received her very first bicycle. A young couple from Lincoln Heights walked away with two bikes and a new plan to start riding together.

For Araujo, the moment carried the weight of everything Centennial is meant to be.

“She’s going through a healing journey,” Araujo said of the building. “She has had a chapter of 100 years. She was built with a very clear mission that no one would be denied care for lack of means. The need for her to fulfill that mission has changed. And so she needs to transform.”

The bicycles, salvaged, repaired, and returned to the community, are a small but vivid symbol of what that transformation looks like.

Honoring a Legacy: CREW LA Celebrates Allison Lynch and Gives Back

abril 17, 2026
AL CREW

Some evenings leave a mark that lasts well beyond the night itself.

On a landmark evening at the historic Los Angeles Central Library, CREW Los Angeles gathered over 130 industry colleagues to honor the career, character, and community legacy of our COO, Allison Lynch,  in the second biennial CREW Honors event held in her name.

The venue was no accident. Chosen as a deliberate homage to Allison’s love of reading and her lifelong commitment to learning, the library set the stage for an evening that was as personal as it was professional. Literary-themed cocktails, centerpieces built around her favorite books, and a room full of people whose careers she has shaped, every detail was intentional.

The evening featured tributes from CREW LA President Amberly Washington, Allison’s mentor Elizabeth Ringbom, and her partner Mike Calzada. The highlight was an intimate fireside chat between Allison and Primestor CEO Arturo Sneider and President Leandro Tyberg, a conversation that traced the “why” behind her work, her non-traditional path into commercial real estate, and her unwavering belief that belonging and representation are not aspirations, but responsibilities.

The event was curated with love by Tori Robinson, Jennifer Hafner, and Primestor’s own Shajira Hope, with creative direction by The Aisha Life.

Following the gala, CREW LA finalized $6,000 in charitable donations in Allison’s honor, $3,000 to the CREW Network Foundation, which supports scholarships and career pathways for women entering commercial real estate, and $3,000 to Altadena Girls, a grassroots nonprofit born from the Eaton Fire that has grown into a vital community center for teenage girls in the Greater Los Angeles area.

In Allison’s own words: “My own path was shaped by women who created opportunities for me, and I am honored to help provide that same foundation of support and belonging for the next generation of leaders.”

At Primestor, we build communities, but it’s people like Allison who remind us why that work matters. We are proud to celebrate her, and proud to call her ours.

Ana Lucia Matamba | Administrative Assistant

She leads with professionalism, consistency, and a strong sense of ownership, demonstrating that administrative roles are strategic and essential to organizational success. Through her work, she helps elevate the perception of this field while opening doors for others. Her inspiration comes from her mother, who raised her independently while continuing her education and becoming a CPA, a reflection of resilience, determination, and strength.

Chonghui Zhang | Senior Construction Manager

She breaks barriers by consistently showing up prepared and leading with thoughtfulness, earning lasting respect in an industry where women remain underrepresented. Through her presence, she is helping redefine leadership in construction. She draws inspiration from a former colleague whose confidence and willingness to speak up showed her the power of using your voice, even while still learning.

Darian Negreros | Marketing Assistant

She contributes to strategic initiatives while positioning herself as both a creative and operational partner. By combining community-focused marketing with strong project management, she demonstrates that women can drive both vision and execution. She is inspired by her mother, whose resilience, work ethic, and ability to care for others while continuing to grow professionally have shaped her approach to leadership and life.

Daisy Lopez | Tenant Coordinator

She leads with technical precision, accountability, and calm authority across a multi-state portfolio, helping redefine leadership in a traditionally male-dominated field. She looks up to her mother, who showed her that leadership can be steady, thoughtful, and deeply committed.

Deborah Yasharel | Fund Controller & Chief Compliance Officer

She ensures the financial integrity and governance behind Primestor’s work, supporting projects that create lasting impact. She began her career in asset management and later joined Primestor, where she aligns her expertise with her passion for building community. She believes success is defined by integrity, collaboration, and how you support others. She breaks barriers by stepping into roles where women have been historically underrepresented. She is inspired by women who lead with resilience, authenticity, and a commitment to uplifting others.

Itayetzi Angeles | Marketing Coordinator

She challenges the idea that age defines credibility by proving that impact and contribution matter more than assumptions, creating space for her voice as a young woman in the field. She is inspired by her former manager, who led with humility, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping others grow.

Olivia Amado | Assistant Property Manager

She demonstrates that women can lead operations with confidence, expertise, and consistency, helping shift perceptions in a traditionally male-dominated space. She looks up to her mother, whose strength, determination, and care continue to guide her every day.

Rhiana Lindsey | Leasing Director

She breaks barriers by consistently delivering results, building credibility, and expanding what leadership looks like in commercial real estate. She draws inspiration from a woman who helped her navigate independence early in life, teaching her resilience and confidence.

Shajira Hope | Marketing Director

She expands the role of marketing and community engagement in development by positioning it as a strategic driver, opening doors for more women to lead in shaping the built environment. She is inspired by her mother, whose resilience and empathy continue to shape how she leads with purpose.

Beyond roles and responsibilities, these stories reflect the purpose, resilience, and intention behind what we build every day.
Each woman, in her own way, contributes to creating communities that are more connected, inclusive, and meaningful.

Because in the end, what we build is not just projects, it’s spaces where people can belong.

Proud of Our Team: The Walk Breaks Ground

“The Walk groundbreaking reflects months, and years of shared commitment and belief in what this project represents.”

The groundbreaking of The Walk marks more than the start of construction  it represents the culmination of months (and years) of intentional planning, coordination, and deep collaboration across teams and partners.

Behind every ceremonial shovel was a group of people who showed up consistently, solved challenges together, and remained grounded in a shared vision for Norwalk’s future. This milestone reflects the dedication of our internal teams, city partners, community members, and project collaborators who believed in what The Walk could become.

We are proud of the collective effort that made this moment possible. From early planning conversations to boots on the ground, this achievement belongs to the many hands and minds who moved the project forward with care and purpose.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, stepped in, and helped bring this milestone to life together.

As the year came to a close, we created space to pause, step away from the day-to-day, and reconnect as a team.

Our End-of-Year Lunch was a meaningful moment to reflect on what we accomplished together, celebrate the dedication behind our work, and recognize the people who made it all possible. It was a time to express gratitude, strengthen connections, and look back with pride at everything we built throughout the year.

Moments like these remind us that progress is not measured solely by outcomes, but by the relationships, collaboration, and care that move us forward.

Monday’s Celebrando Logros event was a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when vision, partnership, and community come together.

Hosted at the Los Angeles County General Hospital Campus, the gathering celebrated the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors’ approval to advance the Centennial project into its next phase of planning and design.

The event also served as an opportunity to thank the East LA community for their unwavering support and collaboration throughout this journey.

The day was filled with energy, gratitude, and hope, a true celebration not just of progress, but of the people who make it possible.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Supervisor Hilda L. Solis and to all of our community partners who continue to inspire and guide this shared vision for a vibrant, inclusive, and healthy East LA.
